Bosnia Herzegovina is keen to push the film sector in the country. Therefore, the Sarajevo Canton Government has implemented an incentive scheme for the production of audiovisual works in the Sarajevo Canton in 2020. By offering attractive financial incentives for film development, production and other kinds of projects related to the film industry, the Sarajevo Canton shall be promoted as a chosen filming location. The incentive is set up as a cash rebate of 30% on qualified costs spent on the production of an audiovisual work. The minimum spend for feature is €50k. Film makers can also benefit from the Film Fund Sarajevo, which contains about €1,2m.
