Iceland

The Icelandic Film Fund (IFF) is responsible for the support of the film industry, which is administered by the Icelandic Film Centre. The fund aims to promote Icelandic filmmaking by providing financial support to features, documentaries, shorts and fictional TV series.

Iceland has become in recent years a hot spot for international film making, with a number of large film productions every year. Iceland’s highly skilled and experienced production companies, which have received excellent international recognition, support producers with their filming projects in Iceland.

International co-productions are financially supported by offering up to 35% reimbursement on eligible costs incurred in Iceland.
