Ireland

Screen Ireland is the national development agency for the film, television and animation industry in Ireland. It strives generally to support the Irish film, television and animation, also by attracting filmmakers and investors into Ireland. It provides grants, loans and guarantees for film production in Ireland, as well as support for development, production and distribution. Screen Ireland can provide a maximum loan of €350k for co-production per project with an additional possible loan of €150k for post-production. In addition to Screen Ireland, the government offers the Irish film tax incentive, which represents a highly attractive tax relief of up to 32% of all expenses incurred in Ireland.
