The Film Centre of Montenegro is a newly established public institution (2017) aiming to create a profound and stimulating environment for the Montenegrin film community. Its main activities include e.g. the management of the film fund; the support of new film productions; the promotion of Montenegrin cinema and its potential for international film projects. Montenegro offers an incentive programme to support film production in the form of a 25% cash rebate on the qualified expenses incurred. The minimum spend is €100.000. Film projects with international partners can benefit from the selective minority co-production support, which is announced through annual calls.
