Sweden

By means of the Minor Co-Production Scheme Sweden aims to strengthen the cooperation between Swedish production companies and international producers. The aim is to elevate the opportunities for international financing and the dissemination of international film in Sweden. Besides, it should also inspire and facilitate competence development and help films to cross borders.

Another film incentive is the Production Discount for audiovisual works, which represents a discount on production costs of 25%. The financial scope sums up to a total of SEK 100 million per year. Furthermore, the four regional film funds and their commissions provide several regional instruments.
